Sketch of a tree i did from meory, Im lost as to how i should draw a tree that doesnt have any leaves on it or how to draw different kinds of trees or how to define the leaves better?

Some forms done from imagination and 2 faces, supposed to look like gandalf , didnt use reference but im still unhappy with it, its too messy i dont know how i should show age and wrinkles without the image becoming a ciompltete mess of jumbled lines D:

Hey, turtle, good start so far! You're playing around with forms and constructions in pencil and pen, which is definitely the correct way to start all this, man. And be sure to keep coming around the perspective thread, since we'll be posting more and more on how to get better at doing these sorts of things. Keep up the good work!

Lost as to how to do studies, I feel like Ive improved but I d0ont know how to improve more as when i draw im drawing from imagination or from life and I dont know how to learn more!!

I can see things start to happen! Keep going and don't give up. Do more of these, and keep pushing yourself

One interesting thing to do would be to come back to all the drawings with fresh eyes, and try and correct them. It's a fantastic exercise.
