    Swedish cartoons and Rembrandt

Hi! This is a personal project. The characters are famous Swedish cartoons (so not my own character designs).
The first one is Caliban. Second is Alfons Åberg. Third is Skalman and last Dunderklumpen. Textures are from cgtextures.com.
The composition and light in the paintings are inspired by different Rembrandt paintings. I hope you like them and please
    feel free to critique!

Trädgårdsmästarn Caliban and Dunderklumpen, amazing! Per Åhlin is probably my favorit swedish character designer! And both Dunderklumpen and Resan till Melonia är sjukt gooda films! Grymt!

Man, you just made my day. This first character really reminds me of my childhood, when i loved to watch the movie till melonia (i think its called) and i was just so happy to see the guy. You really did a great job on these pictures. Keep up the good work and thanks again . Have a nice day!
    Kind regards

These are great! Think Caliban and Alfons are the best of the bunch, they feel abit more detailed and three-dimensional then the rest. Anyway, the lightning is fantastic in all of them.
    Snyggt jobbat!
