Half-way through... Need advice before continuing with big mistakes

    Hello,

I think I am half-way through my painting and before going on I wanted to ask you for help or advices you could give me concerning the following picture:

    Name: idea.jpg
Views: 167
Size: 162.9 KB

I'm still not sure about the story of the painting. I'm always thinking more and more of what the scene means as I go through it.

I will add more details for sure, like more hanging bridges to cross the other mountains.
And I have to find a way to connect the scientists to the lost ruin.

Hope you guys can criticise, help me out or give me some advice in some way.

    Thanks in advance!

    Greetings

Too late. You have already painted a picture halfway with all the mistakes you haven't solved during an earlier stage. You can't salvage this without reworking it from the ground.

Next time, plot the perspective and plan the composition before you begin painting.

lol, ok, I am a fool. I do this mistake all the time. Next time I will think of this for sure

Probably I'm gonna quit this painting, I am a bit tired of it.

Nevertheless, could you point out my major mistakes anyway?

    Thanks

Don’t put yourself down. I would guess that you’re probably not a fool; you’re just ignorant of finer painting skills. The best advice I can give you is to draw lots of boxes in perspective, and also paint all the mundane objects around your house. This will start training your brain and help you develop the skills you need. One day you’ll come back to this painting and see the mistakes for yourself. You’ll slap your forehead and say “Oh god, what was I thinking? Those little people couldn’t cross that bridge with all the space between the pegs.”
