    Goblin Dude

Hey everyone, I'm working on this guy and while I'm happy with how he's coming along, I'd love to get some feedback on its current state, thanks in advance!

The color is nice, but overall image is very underexposure in dim light, you should light them up a bit.

The black shading is killing it a bit for me. Also, the highlights on the face could go up a notch, specially on his left side. Also, one leg is way longer than the other.

Thanks for the feedback! I guess I just need to study light way more. As for the leg, didn't notice it, but you're totally right!

I did a quick paint over to hopefully illustrate what had been previously stated about the lighting...

Just popping in to say that I love the look of that fish/turtle thingymadoo he is holding. I thought that it was some sort of mask at first but now I'm kind of confused. For some reason the goblin and the head complements each other really well.

Other then the one leg shorter then the other, I'm not sure I like the pickets on his back with strings between them. What purpose would that serve? Why would he wear that?

I'm also not liking the brown on brown, and I feel like the fish thing should look more separated from the main character.

    Here is my paintover:
