I need some help on an environment piece

So, I wanted do paint this piece, but I'm kind of, well stuck. So help on how I can approach this piece, because generally I feel really overwhelmed, as well as how to make it an actual over all painting!

    Help!

I would maybe suggest going back to thumbnails and working up a stronger composition. Try to avoid the repetition you have at the minute, also tru to push the overlap you have started to suggest, and maybe add more interest in the background.

You're right, it feels really, flat. I just don't know what I can do to improve it, thumbs will probably be a good place to start though, but I've looked at it so much I don't know how to go about it!

Maybe I'm just stressed about my art atm, I feel like I've hit a brick wall! Thank you

My compliment for your perspective, it's doing good, right now please move it to the next level of details to see if things work, too soon to tell.

So I played around with it, it still feels too linear, I don't know what to do in the background. Any suggestions:

Please continue to paint the house and everything, then you can check about your primary light source, your secondary light source and everything else.
