    Hi Xperiment, welcome!

Your concepts are ok but colorwise there's a lot of work to do, atm they look too much burned and dodged, there's no real light in there.

    Hi hitsu

Thanks for taking time to share your thoughts.

well, about what you underline, I'm ok with that, sometimes on my pieces I forced a bit about dodge, light etc... I leave it like that on purpose, kind of like it in a way, personal choice.
Of course I know that in terms of pure fundamentals some parts are exaggerated, when I am painting, especially when it's about concept, I try to detach sometimes of pure fundamentals and let the painting just come over.
As I have a background working and studying traditionnal painting, 3d and now more sensible to the concept art field, of course I know about lights/exposure/depth of field/occlusion etc...
Sometimes thinking about too much fundamentals to me destroy the interesting part of the spontaneous and creative side of a painting, and in concept art I think it the most important, rather than having a demonstration of skills, we all know that as a profesionnal, you can draw well if needed and if the time permit you to do so.
I'm not saying that you have to cheat on skills, it's has to be there but I keep in mind that in this field, we are just the first step of a whole creating process, not the final product.
Once you have a nice composition, mood, balance and once your image is understood enough in terms of details you've made 90% of the job, the others 10% is a bonus.
