Hey guys/gals/unkowns, I'm trying to buckle down and devote more time to my art and thinking i might start going by a schedule. Right now on a good day i'll draw 1-3 hours if at all, but i'm hoping to devote up to 8 hours a day to it. Would appreciate any input. Here's the schedule i've sketched up, divided into two hour blocks.
11:00am-1:00pm : Doing things around the house
1:00pm-3:00pm: ART- 6 ten minute drawing exercises, 6 ten minute still life's
3:00pm- 5:00pm: ART- Read Andrew Loomis/Bridgman and practice exercises
5:00pm- 7:00pm: Girlfriend Time
7:00pm-9:00pm: ART- Study Perspective
9:00pm-11:00pm: ART- Free Draw (from reference or imagination)
11:00pm-1:00am: Unwind (with girlfriend)
1:00am-3:00am: Personal Time/ Margin of error, then bed
Any tips or suggestions would be appreciated. Is there anything else i should work in or replace? I'm also a bit concerned about becoming burnt out, so i may make up a different schedule with less drawing/ more personal time and swap it in when i start to get overwhelmed.
