This is work in progress of some concept art for my own project: http://universumwar.com/
After completion of this picture it will be cutted into layers and animated for some 2D cutscenes..

The style reminds me of 90's videogame artwork, which I love. I really like this. One thing that I would reccommend is to avoid cloning the jets. It would be more interesting IMO to see them at different angles, maybe turned sideways.

Ok...this is just amazing. I'm trying to find anything that might not work to help, but...I can't find anything.

The only thing is (maybe is only my problem) is hard to focus on something in here. I know, it's a scene about desctruction and a city being attacked, but is like I can't find a reference to watch....I don't know if I'm explaining myself or not, sorry ^^u.
And also, just curiosity, what is that tha floats in the sky?

This picture could benefit from some clearer light sources. Right now the lighting is a bit too psychedelic and chaotic. Find a balance between chaos and readability.

I feel like I'm not getting a matching scale on the different elements. The buildings on the left side come off as tiny, despite having more floors sometimes then the ones on the right. So the scale confuses me, and makes the painting feel a bit like a collage rather then an integrated scene.

Here is my go at it:
