Hello! I have been following and admiring the community and artwork on this site for years. A recent paradigm shift in my mind made me re-evaluate what I want to be doing with my life, so I dropped out of my Visual Effects work for Film and Tv which I had been doing in the UK for 10 years or so and moved to Spain! Why Spain you say? There is no money in Spain! No, there isn't, but there is a great sense of community and pride in the arts, and that's what I need to be surrounding myself with right now. It has allowed me to focus more on my own art, and given me a huge sense of freedom. I have many things to upload from the years, but I shall start with my most recent things.
I came back to the UK for Christmas, and about 3 weeks ago now I decided 'Right...lets GO'. I have been drawing all day every day ever since. It's become an avalanche I just can't stop. This is the first time in my entire life I have taken my work so seriously, and been having some real pride in myself for 'getting to it' after 27 years of mostly procrastination.

First off, here's a load of the pencil pictures I started off with. I am trying to focus on forms rather than details at the moment. I have always got carried away with details, but by limiting myself to about an hour a piece, i've forced myself to 'move on' with a picture.
