    Learning by doing

    I haven't been doing as much sketching as I'd like, so I decided to open this thread and (ideally) post on a daily basis.

    My aim is to get better and drawing and painting and I hope that I can achieve that by drawing a lot and getting help and advice from you guys

    Anywhere, here's the first buch of sketches from yesterday.

    Trying to create a forrest scenery.

    Scanner was broken, so I couldn't upload any sketches. But now that it's fixed I'll try to upload them tomorrow.

    Still struggling with what books or approaches to anatomy to study :/

    Anyway, here's a WIP for this weeks C.O.W.

    I love the fluidity of your 30 second poses. Nice stuff so far!

    SLovi, I really like your practice portraits. Your use of lines for shadows on your museum visit are really nice. Your work makes me want to visit a museum too. Keep it up.

    @ Clockworklives
    Thx. These are always fun to do and a good way to get into the right state of mind for studies and whatnot.

    @iMigraine
    Thank you. I really love sketching at museums. Unfortunately there aren't that many nearby and almost none with dinosaur skeletons :/

    Have been insanenly busy these last few days & weeks. The work for my portfolio application at art university really robs me of all of my time ^^.

    Still insanely busy with preparations for the portfolio. Hope I can do more studies when I'm done with it.

    Some more stuff. The creature designs are heavily inspired by Brynn Metheney and her online tutorials
