    Dragon attack

    Hello again
So I'm starting a new statue
    "Dragon attack"

its more complex than previous Statues i made
the idea is a dragon who abducts a soldier and his friend trying to hold the friend that is kidnap foot in an attempt to stop the dragon.

    so i started with armature

I'm intend to do a helmet for the soldier

And here I stopped a little
I started to think how I'm going to make him an chainmail.
after some searching and thought I got the idea how it going to be done.

    Step one
Create a snake, by hand or with a tool.

    Step two
    Cut into small pieces
Rounding them slightly with your fingers

    Step three
Using a tool with a round head I squeeze the first line

    Then the second and repeats

Now another way but it requires a larger statue
    Or really gentle touch

    Step one create a snake
Step two rotated it around a stick

Cut it in the middle with a knife

    The next step
Is forming rings again but this time cut them wider
    Look at the picture

And connect them between each pair against the direction

Nice tip (first method), I'll try that.
Second method I used before, but instead of supersculpey I made rings from thin wire. After that you just push rings into the sculpey. You can do much smaller rings that way

Holy moly! That chain mail looks great! Going to require a lot of patience to complete that but man, I think it will be worth it! Keep it up man!
