DRAG0N'S SketchBook- all comments and critique are apreciated.

HELLO ALL, My name is Reece and i have finally made my way over to conceptart.org after putting it off for far too long.

i am 20 years old and have only recently started learning and practicing concept art although i have always had a love for drawing it was
definatly a change creating things from my head (a lot harder too) so yeah, i made the decision to leave my university course and focus my
attention to this in hopes of one day securing that dream job as a concept artist.
I live in the U.k in a town called south end on sea (about a hour away from London)
any way i hope you all enjoy my art and i look forward to talking with you all from this point on.

great start! if you keep working hard theres nothing stopping you being really excellent. just rememeber to watch your perspective; some of those vehicles have multiple vanishing points which makes them appear to be twisting. good luck and keep posting!

here is the coloured version, the pin up girl is from a internet image and NOT painted by me.
opinions on the colouring of this would be really helpful as im not sure what it is but something doesn't look right to me.

thanks man, im glad you think so, i looked through your sketchbook and you have a great ability to generate ideas which is something i struggle with, my visual library isnt very good especially when it comes to forms for vehicles. but yes definitely and who knows one day aspiring artists will be googleing us for inspiration don't give up though, we will get there with practice

a character/mech? design that was inspired by the big daddies from Bioshock.
the character is brought to life by a electric generator that is stored on his back. although the generator can be broken it only takes a few new parts to reanimate the rotting corpse within and voila your ready to go.
warning giant deadly undead creatures may be dangerous... batteries not included!

That last one is pretty badass man. Great perspective work and lighting. I'm quite jealous

My only 2 crits would be to keep on eye on your horizon line and try to keep all your vertical lines lined up. The vertical lines for the store front seem to be skewed in a few different directions then when you look at the building further out they are straight up and down.

Regarding the horizon line, the perspective is very low, as if seen through the eyes of a dog or something about 1.5 feet up from the road. Which could be what you want but something to keep in mind.

Again, kickass work man. Someday I'll do up a full scene like this, thanks for posting.

thanks man, and i see what you mean about the 3 point perspective issue, i didnt even think of it when i was doing those background buildings, as for the low horizon, that was intentional as i wanted to shop to feel dominant on the page and i though the low horizon would help.
you should definatley give a full scene a go, and when you do feel free to show it to me, thanks again

I like your universe, though you should work more on the 3d aspect of your drawings. Keep going qnd try some academic spheres, cones etc to get a better perception of things

The last one looks great! If you have problems with color, I'd suggest doing some color studies from photos and life. Try to see how warm light creates cool shadows and vice versa. And don't be afraid to use strong saturation.
