    Red face Shadow's Sketchbook

    Hi everyone!

I am really trying to improve my art before getting into college, and am also striving to become an freelance illustrator.
Would love any and all advice and critics. One of the few ways improvement starts ^u^

Nice start! Its bold to go staight into illustrations, i am afraid because i dont feel the skills are there yet, therefore i am jealous. Now all you have to do is stay consistant and study fundamentals so you can get the big bucks. Its a tough industry, keep posting

Well, I have to say that you've came to the right place. However, Sar Sengo has a great point and most of your color works suffer from bad color choices.

Thank you SarSengo! Yes, illustration can be quite daunting, and I am nervous myself. I know I really have to push forward and keep learning the basics. Definitely going to start doing an anatomy study and scenery coming up in posts.

Light and Color Or checking out the tutorial part of the forums, (or search it) Ive seen articles about color on the site before.

Also shrink your images a bit more before putting them up. You make it hard to see the whole piece without scrolling.
