    Question about a book.

I´ve been thinking of buying this book:

But, i wanted to ask that is it worth of buying? Because it seems very interesting and i've been looking that kind of "step by step" book, where are good instructions and tips for starting making digital art.

And Author seems good, because i bought long time ago one book from 3Dtotal and it was good.

I'm making the assumption you're a complete beginner. In that case you don't need that book.
You're better off picking up a Loomis book an anatomy book from the list by the first poster.
That's good enough for a start.

I have bought this book, not to learn from it but because I liked the artwork within the book. Now as for using it as a learning resource I would advise against it since it doesn't really teach you anything step by step, mainly just little bits of advice but you already need to know how to paint.

Though the Digital painting technique's volume's one and two are a good read.
