    Digital Oils

    Hello,
I've been trying digital oils techniques lately, and here are some results I dare to show you. It's done in Painter, Artrage and Photoshop. Thanks for your C&C.

The anatomy of the figures reminds me of Burne Hogarth. The traditional effect looks pretty convincing, although the first painting seems to be a little flat and lack depth, perhaps more shadow on the pillar to seperate the figure from the background may enhance the painting, but thats just a matter of opinion.

Thanks, Mr-Joe! Yes, I intend to draw the anatomy in a kind of geometrical way, a bit like Hogarth. But there's a lot to improve...
You're right about the first painting, I was more concerned with the technicals effects of the oil than the subject itself.

I like them a lot, the one thing I'd like to point out is that the orc's right hand (on our left) looks a little oddly positioned. Try doing that pose yourself and you'll find you have to strain to get your hand pointing in that direction. Maybe lift up his fore arm a bit and have the hand going straight out. Overall I think they look great, love the stylization.

Thanks a lot for your comments, D-reaux. I really appreciate them. I think I'm going to change this post's title, so that I can group all my images here.
