    Marvel's The Thing (Future Foundation WIP post#13)

    Here's my second attempt of full figure sculpting. Stand around 10inch without the based. Still a work in progress

    update:
    added left hand, detailing the rock skin on both hands, a little detailing in the feet/toes.

    saw some reference art that that toes are kinda like square and got sides.

    Really really like him! I wonder if you should have cut IN the rocks, instead of building OUT. He got bulky and hid your wonderful anatomy!
    Bonus points for making the shorts bumpy! In HS we had a discussion once about why aren't his shorts bumpy from the rocks on his butt! LOL!

    Thanks philofmars.. I wanted it to be as rocky as possible for this version.. the second version I'm doing now the skin is curve out, so it will be a much more cleaner looking Thing.. =)

    anyway here's some update for the head.

    The base is fantastic.. I have no idea how you got it so smooth. Your anatomy is good too, but go for a more dynamic pose next time! Make him super-heroic!
