you got some creative stuff going on, i'd like to see more![]()
Cheers, I'll try to update this thread about once a day...You Belgian as well? North or South?
Some hand drawings...
Can't find the exact link of the reference, but i reckon that if you were to search for 'hands' on deviantart, you'll probably stumble upon it yourself...
comments would be greatly appreciated,
Cheers

here's my entry to sinix' designlab: the baby dragon flame gun of awesomeness!

Here's some older, finished/unfinished pixel art...
I must say that I am still far more comfortable on Ms. paint with a normal mouse, than on photoshop with a fancy tablet and all that...

Today's update: 2 forest zombies, a weird looking medicine man, a dragon and a cake-loving ogre with a small left foot...

Cool drawings man i really like the shading technique that you use. The pixel art stuff is really cool too !
Some old and new anatomy studies

Working on those digital skills...

Nice sketchbook and great approach to study hands, keep it doing.
Keep working on those hands until you barf! Hands are so hard to get right...you are on the right track. Your quick shading is pretty effective as well. One suggestion. Try to lessen the business of the lines when drawing in pencil. This is just an exercise. See if you can draw things without making so many marks. Try less marks to convey the same thing.
Keep at it. Love the hands.

I definitely like the Oekaki look to your pixel art, but I would like to see the jungle piece finished.

@siiilon : thanks a lot mate!
@Tetsuo : Thanks for the suggestion. Though I'll definitely try to keep that in mind next time, I was wondering why the lines would be a bad thing...? I heard some people mention that it the early, lighter linework makes drawings more... lively?I'll definitely try to lessen it though...
@FightingSeraph: Thanks for dropping by! As much as I'd like to see it finished as well, I'm quite afraid that jungle piece is going to remain unaltered for the time being...I used to do a lot of pixel art a few years ago, but right now I'm trying to focus a bit more on my fundamentals.
Though pixel art can lead to some nice results, I find it to be a bit too labor-intensive...(e.g; the jungle piece took over 35 hours, and isn't quite finished yet...) Also, I noticed quite a few things I didn't like on that piece. And sadly, Ms. Paint makes it quite difficult and time-consuming to change such things...
Here's another photoshop experiment:
I'm still trying to find some some brushes I like, and just messing around with the overall opacity/flow settings.
Once that's all fixed, I'll do some digital studies.

So, it has been a few days since my last upload...however, that does not mean I have not been drawing. I just couldn't be bothered to scan everything in...
Luckily, I could be bothered a few moments ago:
I got a tiny little sketchbook which i'm using to quickly draw random everyday people...sometimes I get lucky and get manage to stumble upon someone not moving for a few minutes...sometimes ive got about 20 sec to finish the sketch...
Last one's this big tree thingy, i pasted this portrait of this african person on top just caus I can...and that's all for today...

Entry to Sinix' designlab: alien birds and wutnot...Seem to have lost my tablet and kinda ran out of time...Not really that fond of it...

I recently bought this 1 year pass to a local zoo...so yeah, heaps of exotic animal studies coming up I reckon...

A quick photoshop doodle...No references used or anything...
Still trying to get used to the...awkwardness/stiffness (?) of the stylus, and photoshop's weird color picking features...

love the bird painting dude! looks like your getting the hang of photoshop.
Finally managed to get my tablet settings somewhat correctly, making everything just that little bit easier.
