Determination and Desperation

Vandall here, or Gareth Keenan. Been my dream to work using my artistic skills for a long time now and I finally feel like I'm almost there. Hope to get alot of feedback and direction here, especially through my sketchbook. On odd occassions I may not upload for awhile due to my current full time job as a solo dad. Here we go!

Studies and stuff

Some arm copies and attempts at replicating the anatomy. I feel like my brain is sluggish like I dont learn as fast as I should.

Armor and model replications.

Worked on some armor studies for the first part of tonight, and for the second a small landscape. I wasn't sure what to do with the landscape as I never paint them.

Another armor study, trying to figure out the lighting and some terrible arm sketches, ended up making sure i was starting to understand how the muscles of the forearm wrap around.

A WIP and a study that ended up being far more helpful then I thought it would.

Working on this, after my studies I may as well do an actual illustration.

Caucasian faces along with reference image, as well as my Knight which im done with for now.
