    Thanks Deon...

Thats a terrific drawing right there, but the perspective on the antlers is definitely too much in my opinion. I suppose you did it on purpose, but it's like the only thing in the image that is distorted like that, so it doesn't fit in...

Otherwise it's a really nice design

Hmmm - thanks, z01ks...maybe youre right. the antlers are meant to be swept back a bit, but i guess it doesnt translate well..lemme see if I can fix it.

    how about that?

@ deon- looks phenomenal! Hair just depends on what look you are going for. If you want to keep the line art then just paint like you would normally and let the lines do their job. If you were looking to do hair over the line art you can do all you shading then add individual hairs overtop- that's how I do it anyhow, but I have a lot to learn myself!

I am impressed with you talent and design- keep it up!

Life has kept me from these contests for too long. I would love to take part in this one, it's such a great concept, but I doubt I'll have the time this week. Truly admirable work in this thread so far!

z01ks: nothing wrong with focusing more on the textures. The drawing doesnt look bad to me, from an illustration point of view its looking good.

Just found out about this yesterday! I have to say some of the finest examples of rainforest action I've seen from you guys.
Here's where I'm going so far. Gonna try and make it to the final.

@Scorge: Great work as always man, that is a super kick ass illustration and concept if I've ever seen one. Hope you're doing good with everything else man, it's been awhile.

Making slow progress on my entry but enjoying the process no doubt. Just going with the flow and trying to get some work in where I can....Name: cow284_rainforestgod_w2.jpg

Thanks Nick, it has been a while hasn't it? I always appreciate your tenacity and kind words brother. Anytime you want a paint over or tips let me know.

On a side note, seems the hacker did a little bit more than delay the site, my stars are gone. Whaddaya got Simon or (lark?
Will I get them back? Or do I have to earn them all over again?

No idea what's wrong, Dave, but it's everybody's stars. Checked the control panel to see if the html was messed up or maybe the user title options weren't properly set, but it seems to be something else.
