So what pets do people have?

Seeing as I have a lizard currently impeding my ability to draw, I am curious to see what other people have, want to have, and especially have that do thier utmost ot delay progress on projects
I am the proud owner of two bearded dragons, one of which just LOVES to crawl down from my shoulder and fall asleep on my drawing hand, and for a lizard she has a lot of personaltiy.

I got a black toy poodle trying to get my attention right now. The big advantage with him apart from general cuddliness is that I have to go out and go for a walk a few times a day. But he also has a tendency to have to go out right when I am in the middle of something.
Here is a doodle of him. Lizards should be a great model to draw.Name: tellus skiss.jpg

I have a kittycat. It likes to sit on my lap and since it is so darn cute and warm when she does that I don't want to get up so I roll around the room with my chair a lot.

An 8 year old rottweiler, whiny but very affectionate and silly. And she definitely changed my mind about the breed!

It took me like three hours to finish the shading on your upper lip. It's probably the best drawing I've ever done.

Not much for lizards, bugs, spiders, birds, fish. Cats are extremely hit or miss. Not a fan because you can't train them, or it's extremely hard to. A dogs mentality is "oh you said this was bad and scolded me ok. Well if I do this again I'll get scolded so I shouldn't do that". A cats mentality is "fuck you lets play bitch".

A friend has a cat with one parent it's an angel, so his other parent (separated) got a cat as well. That thing was the fucking devil. I tried to sleep it would jump at my toes and bite the shit out of them under the covers, and dig it's claws into the slightest movement. I said bad. set it on the ground. 10 seconds later back at it. I said BAD tossed it on the ground. 20 seconds later did it again. After repeating this for a half hour. I said BAAAAAD!!!! Threw it across the room (like 5 feet) into the other couch decently hard but not enough to hurt it. 1 minute later did it again. They had to give it away because it was too much. I've had similar experiences with many many cats that were still young or old, tell them something is bad in a strict tone of voice and they couldn't care less. Where as every dog I've trained they understood what they can and can't do with simple positive/negative reinforcement in no time. I taught our border collie mix we got from a rescue how to sit, lay down, stay in a single day and it was potty trained in 3. Never chewed anything after telling it not to one time, once you said something was bad it didn't do it again. Same for our other 2 dogs.

Not ragging on cats as being bad, just that you can get some devilspawn that can't be trained, where as I've never met a dog that you can't train unless it's been owned by people for half it's life that never trained it, then it's difficult.

I own a terrible 18 yr old dog. She barks and threatens all of my house guests. She sheds enough fur to knit another dog every week. She sets rules like "No laundry after dark, no running or dancing in the house" And she looks like an R.O.U.S.

It goes without saying I love that damn snarling beast and would gladly murder any one of you for her.

This is my doggie. He's pug/chuhuahua and is an awesome dog. He isn't too overly energetic but has his moments, doesn't bark very much at all, doesn't chew stuff up or do anything he isn't supposed to in the house, and likes hanging out. He's a great dog.

Um, you know what cooge is slang for right? I know coodge can mean snuggle, but cooge, pronounced the same means something else. In fact, quite the opposite of a dog.

You're pronouncing it wrong then. KOO-D-GE. Not Cootch or cooch, not like a vagina. I will forgive you though.

When we got Koodge, his name was Kujo (like the killer dog, you've seen the movie? Heard of it?), and well, we decided that just didn't fit his little puppy personality. So we shortened the sound of his name to the first part of Kujo. Kuj. So we spelled it Koodge. lol.

Also, how is it in Sweden? I haven't made it there yet. Went to Finland last year in March/April, loved it and met family there. I have family in Sweden, but I do not know them at all.

I have an exotic shorthair cat named Batlazar. He loves fire, so when I got candles on I have to watch him very carefully (He has burned his whiskers a few times). He also loves water.

Unfortunately for any plans to "draw your pet" I have a bearded dragon. LOTS of texture and spikes. And a ridiculous amount of patterning. very PReTTY patterning, but...
If anyone ever wants a animal texture challenge, beardies are just the thing for you. OTL
Mine just doesnt sit still enough for me to draw her much either, though mom's lizard does. Beardies are pretty social too. Mine scrathes on the glass to be let out.
Dad is allergic to dogs and cats, so we got something different

I used to have a pet, a big ol' pitbull mastiff called Honey. Thing was massive and about as smart as a brick. Lovely dog though, was very upset when she began to get heavy arthritis, which it turns out is quite common to giant dogs. Very cute little thing though Adrienne.

I live in the Australian bush and have koala's, joeys, kookaburras, bats and echidna's as my pets... All wild of course... Not really pets, but they're animals that I see on my property regularly.
