Hi, I'm Phoenix (or Kristen, but I prefer the other name online).

I have decided that I wanted to make Graphic Design my major since I enjoy art and photography (and the first place to start is what you like to do, right?).

My art style is based on anime -- but I do want to aim towards a mix of realism/anime since I joy the light elongated eyes (NOT the moe eyes, relax folks!). My mediums are colored pencils (Prismacolor), pens (Faber Castel), pencils, and markers (prismacolor). I also dabbled a bit in watercolors and watercolor pencils.

Although I do have a lot of floral and landscaping photography, I can't say that I have any real leaning towards anything. I own a Canon Rebel T2.

I have an account on Deviant Art, but I have long since lost my faith in DA with their awful moderation and even awfuller (Quiet you! --I'm totally making this a word!) "deviants". There are still great talents there and I still have too many friends there to completely abandon ship, but the a**patting and whining has long made me turn cold regarding the site.

I also have a tumblr, which basically gives me an excuse to be a complete and total NERD.

I admit that I am quite nervous in joining this site, since I feel my stuff may not be as good. It's scary feeling not good enough.
