been workin on this most of the day. i think im gonna turn it into a futuristic suit and maybe throw on a weapon for shits and giggles, clearly alot more work to be done..

Good start.
you're already making progress.
Some gestures and proportion studies might be a good idea.
I know it can be tough to find time with other commitments (like full-time work), but... just keep practicing if it's important to you.

i was havin fun painting this, but then i got to the face and got really frustrated, any advice on where i can study faces, or just use screen caps and such ?

Try a mirror/life drawing =)
cafés...I like museums, statues like to sit very still. You can use all the time you need.
But I would be more concerned with the width of her hips than her head. They look far to wide.

Anyway I really like post #8 kinda reminds me of frogs. When they croak and creep me out a bit with they ever expanding throats.
