I wanted to say my hello to this awesome forum and thank you for the wonderful job keeping things up and helping artists! I'm a not-so-new member since 've been registered in here for a long time but this is my first post(big mistake on my part choosing not to occupy myself with the forums at that time)
I'm 22 years old, a comics BA graduate from Greece, looking to improve and occupy myself in digital illustration/concept art
I love anime/manga, video-games, and anything fantasy and science (fiction) related- I also enjoy practicing martial arts and playing music (piano) even though I'm not too good at them.
While I am satisfied with my to date knowledge/skill on comic making (though you can never know enough) I find that my current skill in digital painting and everything related to it is VERY lacking.
I think the sketchbook is a nice idea to start with, but read the introductory post on what I should do in here and seriously, the *chaos* is engulfing my mind. o.x I think I should take it lightly for starters, and start
with the basic things.
I hope you can bear with me and that, through interaction with this site and members, I'll be helped to someday reach a satisfactory skill level on digital art and whatnot! I'm also very interested in studying abroad, be it workshops or anything related as long as it doesnt last much more than a year. I hope I find something.
