Hello,

actually wanted to start a sketchbook thread here for a while but haven't been able to sum up the nerves til now. *haha*
Anyways, I really hope to be able to track my progress here and get some honest feedback along the way.

A bit about me:

I'm 20 years old and am studying to become an animator someday. These are early posts and practices I made since January. My main focus until September is to really brush up on my figure studies and anatomical fundamentals. I really, really just want to be good at that first.

As Milt Kahl once said: "I don't think it's possible to be a top notch animator without being an excellent draftsman. You have to try for the whole thing, you know, got to know the figure. Know the figure well enough so that you can concentrate on the particular person - on the difference - why this person is different from somebody else. "

Good work, there are some really great studies here.
I love the gesture drawings above, great confident lines.
