Blanketfort Village

This concept is about a village entirely made of blankets which is populated by tiny blanket creatures. The story is that for thousands of years humans have throws away millions of blankets and unaware these creatures over those thousands of years have collected these blankets and built a village entirely constructed of blankets. These creatures are so tiny however that to the human eye they look like ants.

How about doing some anatomy and perspective study? I think your art will be a lot better if you start from basics because seems like you don't have so much control over your skills and you lack badly the 3d weight sense you can render only with the knowledge of perspective.

I like your pirate concepts! To add even more weight and movement in them, look into dynamic poses - which is a traditional way to "sell" your character concepts. You can even look into more "thumbnailing" to get some tips in how to make your character's silhuette more readable even without the highlighted details! Also, what can be good to think about is "background story" and such that will affect how the character looks like, also think about the character's wants and needs that makes the character unique. It's hard stuff, but great stuff to really learn. I got to learn it myself!
