    good start.

Draw more from life and study anatomy. Don't touch photos yet. Your drawings from your own imagination is lacking solid understanding of value and form. For example, your first drawing of a girl in the tube, The ellipse look like a banana/football I used to be a terrible victim of drawing my ellipse like that.
Don't start on colors yet, try to improve your drawing skills more first.

PeteJ has given you the best advice.

You definitely have talent and only need to draw every day and continue to learn your craft.

I agree you should draw from life more but also make sure to get some books on perspective and do a lot of excersizes like that. If you brush up on your perspective your elipses will work themselves out.. And you will build better forms because it will help you understand 3dimensional space better, but drawing from life will help you learn value and form.

Your observational drawing seems to show a lot more skill than your illustration stuff. As people have said before, keep doing that. Study anatomy and draw from life every single day. Start a sketchbook and contribute to it often. If you feel like one aspect of your skill is lacking, practice that element until it sticks, but practice from life. Books are great at showing you the basics, Loomis, Gurney all those guys (I'm sure there is a huge list somewhere) but only constructive practice from life is going to give any significant results and make the "material" stick.

    I wish you luck
Blog - Check it out. It's fun.

Sketchbook - I should really update more often.

Portfolio - The most fun of them all.
