i've chosen this carriage, and gave it a litle more detail,
the curly stuff in the middle with the litle door is supposed to be an animal cage in art nouveau style metal bars

Looking at your imaginative stuff compared to referenced pictures it looks like you need to study the basics of form. Don't neglect them as they'll you back in spades.
Nice!! Keep at it!![]()
so a friend of mine told me my previous carriage was dull...so this is the sideview of my final carriage

Those carriage designs are really interesting! I think I like the previous one more, but they both seem to have very different aims, and the new one certainly has a more unique silhouette. Good luck taking it to final! =D
As great as your carriage is, I would like for you to put more thought into perspective and form.

*tried to make it better by adding a bigger contrast in the cup
Did it really quickly so it lacks the detail that the first one has

Great stuff Elias. I'm still seeing a minor lack in form in your work. Keep up the reference studies as they help you see and feel form. Imagine the object you are drawing piece by piece in 3-D space. Imagine how the light would hit it, wrapping around it revealing the form. Theres more to form that even i am still learning about but those factors jump out at me as the most important. Keep up the good work.
speed paint i made in class

Nice sketchbook. There's such an improvement visible from even such a (relatively) short time ago as the first post. I especially love the self-conscious "#YOLO". I wish you hadn't apologised for that. I'm really enjoying the wine glass you did. I wouldn't worry about the 'cartooniness' though as it still looks very nice. Keep it up.
it's not finished yet, but i thought i'd upload it to make the progress visible

Wow, I skipped through the pages til now, and the improvement is awesome! At first your lines were too clean, but one could see your progress in every new picture!
That's very motivational for myself, as I'm trying to get into an art university myself and still got a lot of work to do! Keep up doing your stuff, I will drop by
Have a good day!

i'm kind of proud* of this one, it's not that great or anything.
*normally my speedpaints look like shit and i made this one without a lot of reference meterial(just took a quick peek at a sunset, as you can see my first sun was a pile of crap) and made it fairly fast. It's just some sort of a personal record i guess :p
