Just an update. Mostly studies.

Not much to say about this one. Just...boring I guess.

Playing around with this one. Planes thing at bottom.

Please ignore the guy in the middle. I hate it alot. Akward pose...bad clothes...bad everystuffs.

My step grandmother gave me this copy of Lommis' art book she had. Or 'borrow' but she doesn't need it, so I'm fairly certain it's mine.

I didn't do too good on this one. I just realized that my little version of me down there looks kinda creepy, with his smile and beady little eyes.

My favourite thing on this page is the piano shirt(top left hand corner). I got the idea from Elvis McVegas' piano tie. I had to put that b/c he'd whine at me if I didn't. Whiner.

You're doing a lot of study work, and you're doing it in the right way. You're worrying more about getting the forms down, and not worrying about the shading etc. That's good since you're trying to understand the forms. Next will come volume etc with the figure.

THere's a lot of good stuff there and lots of observations for yer brain to soak up.

My gf wanted me to draw a faerie so I did. And I hates it. I could draw better faeries anime style, which she likes, but I'm trying to stay away from anime. For the time being anyway.

My mom drew this whilst she was in my room bugging me. I told her to give her ziggy an unfunny caption like they do in the real comic. I think she did pretty well. I could see that written in one too. Ziggy blows. She calls that green and red caveman "Horny Harry"

ur sketches goin good ... but iam missing the third dimension

i practice that.. with subdeviding the human body *or whatever* in simple geometrie cubes and cylinder.. i also can train adding vanishing points to my characters

cube drawing is also a good exercise to practice * perspective drawing - symmetrie - foreshortening - vanishing points*

I'd go revisit the faerie, but I'm not up to it right now. I'd want a more dynamic pose and some good wing designs.

Hey looking good your stuides are really showing throught your
imagination work, try cleaing up your line work, In the prespective DVD of
Scott Robetson he suggests an excersice to increat the acuraccion of
your line work, by placing two dots on a page and then trace a straight
line that crosses throuhgt both points, use one single stroke to trace
the line, Iv been doing this for the last few day, and its helping me a lot
maybe ill help ya too, its incredible boring tho =)

What do you mean? Just liek draw two points to get straight lines down? I might try that, dunno if i'll post em iwhen I do though. I'm posting this one up today. Some more tommorow.

Sorry I haven;t updated in a while. Sometimes in a man's life things get in the way. Things like World of Warcraft.

You know what rhymes with crap? I don't care but this sucks.

I drew some crappy monster half-mindedly then ElvisMcVegas drew some crap on it and the weird thing up top too.

Yeah. The girl = crap. My alien concept = doublecrap.

Yeah, it was somewhat ok till i did the crabby arm type thing.

The only thing I like besides chrisotpher columbus is the patented penis arrow.

Unfinished cow-mage...thing.

Super hero concept of my gf. Not what i want, but it was fun. Plus i created the lanithid. The ranbow-webbed-lion thing.

Some pen drawings. Pen is fun even if you produce nothing of importance.

I love this stuff. It's great, I just flipped the the page and it really blew me away. You really shouldn't put yourself down so much, leave that to other people. How do you find all this time to draw? I barely have time ever. Oh and the panda should have the purple heart award.

I don't find the time to draw. I usually have to force myself to stop goofing off to do it. I should have 20x more stuff, but I don't.

u could do some perspective studies.. they help me to improve very fast.. evrything is about perspective.. because all things have their onw volume.. they are not flat..

New sketchbook started. So far nothing worth really posting, but i will anyway. I can;t draw worth a shit lately, so i apologize in advance.

Page one off to a bad start. Elvis drew himself on this page. I drew him in turn a couple times. He's the fella with the unicorn horn.

I'm gunan try to see how these look when i put them in order as an animation.

This is my shame. I actually drew some little chibi thing. I want to kill myself.

Man, this thread has been getting so much better. But there still seems to be some problems with the stiffness of your figures. All the people you draw are in really strange positions and I think its having an effect on your creatures and all aspects of anatomy as well.

The way I see it, you should post everything you have for a fair view of your SB. If I only showed what I liked, it wouldn't really be an SB thread.

Studies I did at the botanical gardens.

I'm trying to do a big pic of me as a barbarian and my gf as the obligitory girl in the b/g or f/g. This doesn't look like her at all really tohugh :/. I'm just trying ot think of poses.

I was thinking to draw myself really muscular, but I think if I draw myself closer to my real physique in the real pic it'll look more comical. Not that I'm going for comical, but I think the effect will be nice. This is before I made that decision.

For some reason or another I liek this one. I liked the face when I drew it, then I added the body. I'm thinking about cleaning this one up and colouring it. I may start a thread. I dunno.

I haven't updated in a while b/c I couldn't upload images, now I can. Not that I've done much worth posting. I've gone though and picked out a few things that are at least postable. Not good by any means, but not bad enough to make me want to eat my bowels. I'll scan some more in tommorow, I'm tired of it right now.

I was trying to draw pokemon more realisticly, but it didn't work out. I just ended up drawing pokemon.
