My name is Vice Gripp and I'm an underground hip hop artist out of South Florida. I'm about to record my debut album "The Bear Jew Lives" tomorrow and hope to release it in January of 2013. However I won't be able to do that if I can't find someone to help me with the cover and physical CD case design!! I want to do a 4 panel digipak (gloss stock cardboard) and need the front cover, inside flap, cd tray backing and back cover designed. I'm looking for something kinda trippy and that will convey the sonic feeling of the album visually. I am not a good visual guy so I want the artist to have pretty much free reign to create naturally. I would need the finished product by the first week of January and my budget is $300-350. This would be a great piece for someones portfolio as I am going to be shopping this CD to A&R's at labels, I am going to go on my 2nd national US tour to promote the project and I'll be distributing the CD digitally as well as getting the physical press into retail stores as best I can. I am going to put my all into this project audibly and with the effort to really jump start my career.
I'm trying to bring back that feeling of how I discovered music when I was a kid. I saw a dope looking album cover, I bought the CD without having to ever hear the emcee on it. It usually worked out for the best so I'm hoping to find a dope artist to collaborate with and bring that vibe to my debut studio project!
