sanjo, just a little suggestion, those copy&pasted birds ( or custom brush ) are really noticeable, maybe change them a bit, just to make it look more like a flock instead of drone birds

I do believe I already merged them into the background layer. I'd rather not paint them over now and redo them, since I'm quite lazy Although I know what you mean, I didn't spend too much time on them xD Thanks for your suggestion mate

I refined the sketch a bit more, I guess the coloring was way too early....

I also changed the perspective, in the image before it was a really bad angle.. what do you guys think?

    Jan Jager, as always impressive!!

@ hekaton I always try to do the sketch as neat as possible, in PS it is then much easier to paint on your sketch... but this works for me dont know if it will work for u too...

What is the true value of a painting?, it is not it's price but the light it takes to create it

Havok Reed, panama66 and kingkostas, BIG thanks for finding time to give tips and counsels! I know maybe that was a little bit stupid question because there are tons of info about landscapes etc but when explanations are based on concrete work it's so much easier to understand to me!

It was not a stupid question at all! Everyone has more understanding of certain things than other people. Some people might find it really easy to understand distance, for example, but they might lack in the understanding of composition, which is just as "fundamental" as anything else. OR like that one kid in class who excels in math but does very poorly in English and has to work hard for it. It's just a matter of flipping that switch in your head, then it will make sense. We are all here to learn, so there are no stupid questions.

I just saw the CHOW yesterday, so I only had time to throw together a sketch and some quick inking while at work last night. Idea was for something tornado-based (since I live in "Tornado Alley" in the states) but I thought to make it feminine, since nature is a bitch .
