Changed the composition and changed the foreground element. Also, I've discovered a new trick. I add a flat black Saturation layer (PS CS5) on top of the painting and turn it on/off when i want to switch to greyscale to check the values. I'm sure I'm a little late on this but for those who don't already now, it's a helpful little trick.
