great bunch of updates since i last been in here!
Great sketchbook. Great shadowing, great imagination. I want to practice to get to your level.
You've probably noticed the torso's too long and the legs too short in this, even with the top-down perspective:

I did the same thing to a much crappier sketch of my own, from that same perspective.
Anyway, more!
Also, Purity Ring is great.
Wow your pencil and pen drawings bring tears to my eyes... I'm feeling like line petting patty over here. Good work man, I demand more posts!
Oh wow, I dont understand how people can do such kickass illustrations in pencil when almost any wrong line can ruin whole piece.. It is training or do you see the desing in whole before you put it on paper? Anyway keep it up, you have greatness wainting within arm's reach![]()
My sketchbook - Please, help me growCritique very appreciated
Wow awesome sketchbook so far!! Really inspiring works and studies! Looking forward to seeing more from you!!![]()
those pen sketches you started with are great!Would love to see more of that ilk!
Love your pencil stuff. Your digital stuff is looking good as well. I've always had an affinity for pencil drawings. Looking at older comic book artists like frank millers original pencil stuff was always inspirational. I think Adam Hughes has some of the tightest work in that genre right now. Keep it up!
First of all a big thanks to everybody that commented!
chevy28360 I didn't know the artists but after having a look it's sure to say Adam Hughes knows how to draw his pinup girls
Spudonkey I dug up some older drawings that I wanted to show so your wish is granted!
Joe777k7 Thanks, I certainly won't stop in a long time
jakubvavrikDon't be daunted by the lines, there is a lot of eraserwork going on. It did take me quite some practice to get to where I am now.
CrashPointThanks a lot!
diamandis Thank you. That perspective issue was only noticed after being done with it unfortuantely, lesson learnt.
kevin_ Thanks!
wutangclam Thank you! Landscapes might be introduced sometime, still have the Whit Brachna mountain tutorial to follow..
So here's a big batch of "old" (oldest is August, upto before 2013) drawings of which I felt also needed to be in this sketchbook. One is a sharper picture of my first post in here. Then there's also some digital work of yesterday, 30s posemaniacs to warm up and a selfportrait. Enjoy!
Your pencil sketches have good value in them and they're really nice too.I also like the Frazetta study,if it is indeed done after one of his paintings and I'm not mistaken.
Great sketches! really like the poses on your characters, like to see some of them render digitallykeep it up
Wow, you're doing great! Nice variety of studies and nice progress!
Just keep up what you're doingI love the small details you put into your sketches.
