    Who would be better to study Andrew loomis or Adam admocowicz (sorry about spelling)

    These two have to be my favourite artists at its finest sadly Adam has recently passed but what do you think would be better to study? also im only new thankyou

    No disrespect to Adam but Loomis covers a broad range of ideas and techniques. The Loomis books have stood the test of time being in print for almost 70 years. The new facsimile editions are cheap and worth every penny.

    Don't worry about the best, and just study. Can't pick it up in one book, look at another. Practice a lot. Rinse, lather, repeat.

    any Andrew loomis books or the god of all how to draw books...every book out now has 1 or 2 pages about a subject loomis books will have 4 or 5 or more pages about a subject...and he was a pro in commercial art for years he knows what he's talking about..i would say if you buy his books read every page.
