    Hello all,

I was pleasantly surprised by the new image uploader. I haven't been around in a while.

Are these works all digital or are some of them done in oil?

Either way they are pretty amazing.

Thanks. I'm normally exclusively digital, though the boy in the red shirt started with a scan of an old oil sketch I did. There's almost nothing of that original painting left in the final.

I appreciate it. I've always liked your work. It inspired me to try some more stylized pieces last year; they were awful, but it was educational.

This was supposed to be a fun painting I could do in a weekend. It did not fulfill these criteria.

You've got everything going for you with your work. The colour contrasts and values are brilliant, the forms are reading very clearly, and the abstraction and surreal qualities are compelling. When I think of a standard for my own practice, I set work like this as my goal. Really inspirational

You have some great works! I enjoy your colorful treatment very much.

I,too, made a Marc Maron portrait, and he said the same thing to me pretty much. Felt good. Louis CK ignored me when I tweeted him his portrait sadly. Maybe you would have better luck!

The only complaint is that I feel as though his jaw was made too strong, and he has a much thinner one

Some recent stuff. The Spectrum deadline made for a bit of a mad dash last week.
