I'd love love looove some feedback on this W.I.P. Particularly on the composition, but any other crits are super appreciated as well.
It's weirdly uncomfortable how aligned that tree is with the mountain. It also gets lost in the mountain's silhouette. The picture has all the points of interest to the left, making it feel unbalanced.
What Vineris said. I was thinking you could move the tree to the right but you might end up with a similar problem. I like the colours though.
Here is my comment. I agree that the tree should be on the opposite side of the mountain so that they complement each other and make it smaller. Foreground needs to be darker than what you have now and that big mountain, it needs to be way lighter and not have strong contrast as it does now. The mountain in the back needs to have the sky color over it because atmospheric perspective. Another thing, the weirdest thing is that the tree is there placed randomly. We don't see the same type of a tree somewhere else in the picture. You need to add it to show that it's connected to the environment and repetition illustrates that. Also, I don't think that yellow works for the sky. Look for the sunset images to sample those colors. Where is the light source on any of your objects such as mountains, tree, foreground grass, etc.
