You mention in that thread that it's a windows issue. Do you now if it has been improved in windows 8?

I couldn't find anywhere if this issue also occurs on Windows 8. I did read that it's a mixed bag for tablet users, since some of the built in tablet settings (flicks etc) can't be disabled completely: http://viziblr.com/news/2012/8/18/wi...ut-flawed.html

I have to install in PS to check. Right now I'm just getting bizarre behavior like my tablet turning off randomly in Windows 8 (I have an intuos 5 touch)

Just tested it with CS6. Shoelace bug is still present with intuos tablets. The "rounded stroke" bug or ramped up pressure still there too.
When just using tablet PC mode with my default stylus, I don't get shoelaces. The overall Windows 8 behavior with these intuos tablets are horrible. Erratic and unmanageable

Thanks for looking into it. Won't be updating to Windows 8 anytime soon then.
