I love Blitzcrank and your moon city thumbnails You're really good with ink too. On your digital stuff work on not making the lines so sketchy. I know tablets are weird but try using confident strokes. I'm bad at line making though, so I may not be qualified to give advice. I lovelovelove your designs though.

Thanks heaps Mudpuppy, any advice is good. Yeah I find the tablet quite hard to get smooth strokes when i'm sketching, just not a responsive as pencil, haha; but I will work on it more.

Finnish Piece of my Chief Girl.
I'm pretty happy with it overall, especialy the rough feathers. However I jumped into the face a little to quick and didn't work on form and anatomy; whats a bit of a let down. learnt my lesson the hard way I guess. haha

Just practicing Skulls. Finding it hard to keep motivated to draw; when it seems to be not working out the way I like. But, I have free time, because of holidays so this will be good time to practice.

Finally finished my major art project, had to rush it though. just been caught up in a lot lately haven't had much time.

Decided to practice some metal rendering:
learnt heaps doing this, and I advice anyone to do this! But don't colour pick, its better to learn from the table.
however, I found a lot of problems wrong with this image, compared to the original. But its getting late and it was just for practice and not for the picture perfect look. Still was a good outcome.

Just did a quick 2 hour sketch of this Old man.
turned out okay, but i still need to spend some time facial features.

Hey decided to go back to some pencil sketching. Some portraits from photo ref.

I really enjoy the corridor sketch in your last post. The heads need a bit more attention, if they are ref'd then you might want to focus a bit more on measuring and keeping the proportions solid. The craniums seem a bit small, and the faces seem to skew a little. Just keep pushing them out though, it'll click.

Thanks heaps CLK. Yeah your right I should focus more of the anatomy and proportions I just get lost in capturing their expressions and lose the basic fundamentals. Ill post up some soon Thanks for commenting

I have been practising using multiply and soft light layering along with various other layers to work into my art. Its seemed to pay off because i'm happy with this outcome of this underwater cave. seems to portray more of a natural and vibrant colour to the image. However, I have had trial and errors with previous paintings and i just couldn't get the right look. get frustrated and delete them and start again. It just became to muddy, or lost detail and I had no idea how to get it back - without having to paint it in, and that defeated the purpose of the layering in the first place. But anyway enough chatta from me. let me know what you think and i'm always happy for crits. thanks
