Loving those B&W portraits, man. And that last landscape is looking great. Keep up the solid work!

Thanks a lot everyone for coming by and dropping a few lines! Keeps the motivation up =)
Haven't done much today, will have to put in more hours tomorrow to compensate...
Just two nonsens- vehicles for practicing complex forms:
Honestly, ellipses are evil.
You are really freaking cooool.. that's all i got.. haha
Your portrait work is quite simply beautiful! I think your tutorials are really going to help me out! Keep posting I'd love to see more!
Great sketchbook, I'm loving the portraits, i agree with CrashPoint, those are great tutorials... simple but enough, keep it up!
Thanks crashpoint and gpozzo. Sometime I'll do a new tutorial, but I'm quite busy studying and painting at the moment. At my modest skill level I'm also running rapidly out of things to teach you guys =)

Great stuff! How long have you been drawing/painting for?
Your latest EOW entry makes me feel all warm & fluffy inside. It almost reminds me of an introspective frame from a futuristic themed Superman comic strip, or maybe Watchmen. The secret route to Oxymandias's private Arctic estate. Excellent stuff.

Thanks AJM! I've been drawing since as long as I can remember. But I've only been studying in a consistent manner for a few hours per day for a month or so. Should have done this years ago, I'd be in a very different place now had I done that...
Thanks Vulgar! And thanks a lot for your work on the EOW stuff as well! It's very much appreciated, I hope you know that =)

Still working on compley forms in perspective. Tackle your weaknesses they said. It will be fun, they said.

Absolutely beautiful stuff - especially your landscapes, they are wonderful - interesting technique - do you use the lasso tool? I love #94 in particular, lots of skill and love there!

Hyunjea, That's great! It's unbelievable how large the gap between a woriking understanding of perspective and really knowing perspective and being able to apply advanced methods is. I feel like a complete idiot when I watch some of Scott Robertsons instructional videos and have to rewind a couple of times until I understand half of what he teaches. Long way ahead there.
AllyAlbon, thanks a lot! I do use the lasso tool occasionally, especially for hard surfaces (metal, rocks tec.). I found that my digital work was lacking super hard edges (photoshop doesn't do those very well withput masking), that's why I started using masks/selections.
