Quick study of my desktop to get the sketchbook underway![]()
Originally a commission, but I got bored of it; and I've found it's not great to force paintings, so I'll try some other composition. I thought I'd just post it as a practice![]()
The values and tones and contrasts are a bit funny in areas....any ideas? All critiques welcome!

Back for holidays - seems architecture takes up more time than I first presumed. Anyway, little sketch practice. Might turn it into something later on...
Sketch of corner of living room. Sizes of things are all over the place, but; more a practice in colour I think![]()
Half-finished competition entry a couple months ago. Never completed due to architecture deadlines - but not keen enough on it to try complete it. Might try something similar in the future...
Small commission for someone. Horrible; was a bit of a struggle to just finish it as I'd grown bored.
Well; I've gone a bit too far with incoporating photos into the picture; as a result they've become detrimental to it. The dragon is awful; I should really teach myself anatomy - in fact, I was thinking of creating my own; although in the future sometime. However, the buildings turned out well; as have the colours to some extent, so I'll take that as a positive. Here's to progress!
I don't have time at uni for big pictures; so I've decided to do a sketch a dayThese are the first three days...
