    Joaru's

Some school work. My uni schedule is very hectic so I don't really have a chance to do full-paintings outside of school (unless I'm on my break, but my longest break is only 3 weeks).

    All using Photoshop.
I haven't used tablet for more than half a year, before I entered university, I have only been using graphite and colour pencils. So even insights on technical issues/shortcuts/software will be helpful too!

Hi! Nice work, I particularly like the cave enviro and the first character painting you posted. My only cc would be that in the last painting, not including the shoulders of the character kind of makes for the floating head-bust type of image which I would normally avoid. But other than that, nice work! What are you studying at uni?

I really love the environment work you did here. I can't really give painting critiques as I have barely used color before and although this is probably a shot in the dark, I am getting the feeling that the colors on some of the paintings might be too saturated?(feel free to disregard the cc if it does not seem so) I would like to see some more of your studies and sketchy stuff, it's okay if you can't make finished paintings because it is a sketchbook and you are suppose to put a lot of unfinished work and studies. I personally don't really have time to make finished drawings either, I mostly do studies because I want to improve in the shortest time possible to get ready to make my college application portfolio for animation(Yeah I want to study animation ). Keep up the stuff keep posting and get the ball rolling .

@ Kamikazel33t: Thank you! As for colours I am not sure, because it might be caused my the difference in monitor settings. But maybe what you meant is that the colours are too 'synthetic'? Good luck, fight for your dreams! ^_^

Anyway here are some graphite drawings that I happen to have with me right now! Some figure drawing stuff and one mastercopy of Millet's self portrait.

@ Anivy: Yes, that is charcoal. I like it but it is actually considered failure, as I ended up making it in my own style instead of doing an eyeball copy. If you look at the reference picture, it's so different... hahaha.
Thank you! Glad you like them
