Recognize this art software?

Can anyone tell me what this software is? It's a Korean video which I believe is a demo of the Sony Duo 11's N Trig pen. The art software's UI has realistic-looking tools and paint palette for the color selector.

I don't know exactly this software (looks like some Demo from Sony iteself or a small unknown korean software), but a veeery similar software would be "ArtRage".
Perhaos you already know it but it offers the same stuff.
It has a color wheel and also the realistic brushes.

You can download a trial on their website so you might give it a try.

That's Microsoft Fresh Paint, you can get it for free in the Windows store if you are using Windows 8 or Windows RT.


The application comes from a Microsoft Research project named project Gustav (video here).
Few years ago, Nelson Chu was hired by Microsoft after he has shown his impressive real time ink simulation + a 3D brush technology named MoXi (here a video). Adobe bought to him at this time a license for the 3D brush technology which was introduced in Photoshop CS5 also.
Now Microsoft has released a program using the same technology under the hood...but the 3D brush is not anymore visible and the program UI has been made for beginner and kids.

For now, you can only paint using your screen resolution. The program is very limited (no layers, no way to thin down the paint...) but the interactions between the brush and the canvas are really impressive as it uses a 3D brush and a normal map for the canvas texture. If you look at the video I recorded, you will see the program supports stylus orientation, tilt, barrel rotation (the orientation doesn't match my Wacom art marker) and so on...

If you want something similar, which is still very streamlined but has far more features, then check out Artrage.
I think the basic version is still free.

I've actually tried it on windows 8 and am frustrated with it. The pallets don't return once you start drawing. So it's like..."ooh neat brush that I'm stuck with for the rest of this application"
