    Smile Vayne108's PhotoBook

Hello, I'm an digital painter/3D artist who learned to have a passion for photography, while taking photos for textures for artwork. I've been shooting photo for a hobby for about 2 years now and I used to have a thread on photography Mob before it was shutdown. Anyways I do still consider myself an amateur but I love Photography and I would like to learn more about it and improve my skills. So hit me with your best Critiques, I'll ok with it ^_^ !!

Some really nice shots here - fresh colors, nice use of light and good contrasts. Some of your motives - for example the last one - would improve if the motives weren't so centered. Keep shooting

I rly like your nature/bird stuff!

shame for the power lines in the first one, have you thought about editing them out?

In the last one I'd crop out a bit on the left and the top

These are some really nice shots!
I really find the 2nd shot and that of a flower impressive
You have good sense of photography as your textures and zooming is perfect and on time!

I was going to say something very similar, interesting subjects but working a little more on your composition would certainly improve the overall feel of the photos. Have a bit of a read into the rules of thirds and also using empty space where your subject is looking into.

Nike: Thanks, I will work on that and keep in mind for the future !

Infinit:Thanks, those are some of my favorites to do . Hopefully I can find time to work on those old photos.

    Paky: Thank you !

    aaron2 Thanks, .

steveOBHave Yeah, I have heard of the rule of third before. It was taught in a few of my college courses, but I guess I still have to make the transtion from using it in art to Photography. While, always loooking over something again doesn't hurt ether.

While, here are a couple recent photos. 3 of the 4 were taken on a trip north to see a friend that moved to lake city, Michigan. There is some beautiful landscape up there and lots of wild animals ! My friend's sister even said she's seen bear and fox. Sadly though I wasn't really there long enough to see much wildlife, besides few birds that visited her bird feeder in the backyard.

Also the forth shot, the one at night is set at the college I attend. Geez, panoramas can be difficult.....

    Smile Small Update

    ZubiForce: Thank you !

Also, small update, with one photo this time. I decided to take this one because I was interested with how light interactions with the birds feathers.
