I'm gonna do "Bloom" by Beach House. Listen to one of the tracks here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FuvWc3ToDHg

Here's a sketch. The album is very ethereal and dreamy, so I'm trying to cook up some relevant imagery to go along with how I interpret their sound.

This is a tough one. The prevailing artistic style on this site is representational, and a lot of album art is abstract and crazy. I think I'm being held back by not wanting to make anything abstract, but I don't know if I have much choice, either.

At the very less you have an idea, It took me this long to pick just the song-The Crystal Method - Now Is The Time. I say go crazy, if it works it works!! Abstract is a style of Illustration after all. A very simple style but very strong composition based style. Do yourself a favor too look up a high res cd template.

I'm doing a 3 sided cover just for the fun of it, that way if one of the covers don't work I have one to fall back on.

if anyone else needs it here is a link...

This is what I came up with, The Crystal Method are like techno so my theme is dance and music. The girls are dancing and listen music, I may just change the band to a dance techno band. May just play around with more thumbnails, for the most part I plan on combining them.

Im not sure yet on how far i should go on shadows/highlights and coloring. The main goal is focus the viewers attention to eyes and the guns i think, any thoughts on this?
Also, i havent decided if i want a full picture on the back or just some shapes, would it lead to too much distraction if i did a backview of the front illustration on the back?
