Mac screen and Windows screen

I use painter on Mac for my pictures, they looked more saturated on ipad but still acceptable, but then I found out that they look completely desaturated on a windows screen :/
is there a way to fix this?

Probably has something to do with your color management or profile settings in Painter. Also, are you running an old version of OSX? Mac default gamma settings used to be different than Windows, but they've been the same for several years.

Oddly, Mac default gamma settings used to look considerably LESS saturated than Windows...

Also, every monitor is different, and default monitor settings may not be the best for painting - check the settings on your monitor. Another thing, any newer iPad has a Retina display, and there's a world of difference between that and any ordinary monitor.

My system is still OS X 10.5.8, I went and checked my display settings and found out that I was on led display, I changed it to sRGB and now it looks bluer so much closer to normal I think I need to update when possible, thanks for the help!
