    Tsoul's Sketchbook

hello, Im new here the name is Shernard 22 yrs old. After roaming around and checking out the wonderful work on here you all are a great inspiration. I mainly do work as a graphic designer but lately I've wanted to grow more as an artist wanting to get my hand into a little of everything also finding it harder to come up with ideas and hit the wall one could say.

Deciding I wanted to get better I had to get down with the basics to improve no matter what art is my passion and one of the only things that keeps me sane these days lol

These are some of the things I worked on this past week

Really digging your style, love the almost cubist like vibe of those faces!

Nice work, a lot of improvement indeed. I also really like your gesture drawings, there is a nice flow in them (:

But do you want to do more with it? I mean, is it just sketching or do you also try to do larger projects (comics or concept art for example)?

I'd love to see some animation or comics done in that cube like style. For some reason it kind of reminds me a bit of Aeon Flux, which is cool!

Very cool stuff! I can imagine some of those vector pieces could make great wallpapers. I don't mean for on your screen, but imagine whole walls covered in that kinda stuff, people could then really disappear in the wallpaper!

The sketchbook doesn't show anything yet because I'm a new member. I've already put it up for the mods to fix it.

As for what I'd like to do with my work, not sure yet. These city designs started out as an experiment for Sketchup, but I'm want to incorporate them into a bigger project. I'm also writing fiction and am working on some stuff that fits into the SCIROR framework. I already started working on some short stories, all connected to each other. The artwork could also be an element of that, but I'm not totally sure yet. I also like the idea of it being a project of its own.

But yeah, perhaps that discussion is more fitting in my own sketchbook, rather than going way off topic in yours!
