This is a gift for someone that will eventually be resized to 150px in height for use as a forum avatar.

I realize it still needs quite a bit of work. Here are some thumbnails that show my progress leading up to my current point:

I kind of liked the first thumbs better; the collie looked a lot happier. In this current version it just looks sad. The upper lips are uneven and are you doing a background, or is it just supposed to be transparent?

I haven't decided yet, it would probably be easier to go with a background as transparent I feel would leave somewhat jagged lines due to me painting over a photographed sketch.

I would say keep the happy puppy too. Current one looks like he's expecting something. Don't they all?
