So i ordered the motion LE1700! But....

After my absolute frustration with the new ipad! I learned one thing:

-Rabid apple fanboys are idiots and amusing but shouldn't be taken seriously!

No seriously! Ipad is one of the worst things to consider for sketching and painting i took it because of the so called "pressure sensitive" stylus and guess what i found, almost over 300ms of input lentacy + only 16 apps supports it!


Anyway!

I ordered the motion computing le1700 from ebay for $144 shipped! So far i'm excited, but there's something that bothers me!

The device has a single core cpu! It has "core solo" so wondering how good it'll perform at sketching and more importantly, hardcore painting!

Appreciate any help!

P.s. the device has a wacom digitizer! So it belongs here!

the 1700 is core 2 duo its the motion 1600 that is core solo ...i have them all ...the 1700 is faster thats for sure and you can add 4gb ram the motion 1600 can only take 2gb ram...i like the motion 1600 and have skechbook pro and artrage and for simple drawing its very very good .for sketching its great and very good responce allso .to start off either are better than ipad in the fact they are wacom enabled so have pressure sensativity ....there is a nice stylus for the ipad called jaja and that has 1024 levels of pressure..with the ipad 4 coming on the 2nd november it may be worth a look as the cpu is 2x faster than the ipad 3 so brush strokes should be faster ..another motion i have is the 3400 and that is allso very very good for drawing
