Welcome! One thing I would say, though it's not really about the drawings themselves, is that you should do more drawings instead of jazzing up the presentation. No-one minds if it's simply a scan of a page if the drawings are good. I think your pics are looking great to start off, but the black background detracts from the pictures themselves.

I would definitely go with what waronmars said .
Scaramouche- loose the black background and separate those sketches - they will show bigger and clearer .

Dig those characters at the top and the scaramouche figure.

This is really good stuff you got here. I like the auto portrait you got for yourself there Scaramouch, it has got fines and class. I only wish that you stop trying to highlight the titles and show more interest in the characters you draw.

I will be waiting for more of your stuff, don't be like the guys who only got few good stuff and get some glory with them and sleep on them after that. what I expect from you next time is a complete analysis and illustrations of one of the characters.

you've got a real talent, don't waste it working with it, improve it by having fun with it.

Hello everyone.thank you all for your comments it was really helpful.Sorry 4 being late all this time,well my post reflects my desire to improve my animation skills so i wanted to capture images in my brain and draw it from imagination. These Quick sketches were actually made for the tramp character as it is in my mind.

After that i needed to evaluate my (drawing from imagination) skills so i redrew the tramp character once more but with a reference this time...
And let me tell you that it was a good experience that let me focus on the essential features i should grab in my head to give the character a live image .

The tramp post - i really like the variation in expression , you're good at this thing . so you have to develop your details .

As for the second one - Chaplin - you did a good job at shading , im impressed.
