DSG 1655:Character • DESIGN A TOY OR COLLECTIBLE FIGURINE THAT YOU WOULD LOVE HAVING

    .

[ If you think about it for a minute, you can probably come up with some fun ideas about a little character that you'd enjoy looking back at you by your computer... Maybe giving you the thumbs-up, or other positive sentiment. ]

[ And if you really love it, maybe you should make it out of a polymer clay or something. How cool would that be? ]

This is what I'd love to have on my desk.

I didn't design the character, he's Lou from the awesome comic Bad Dog.

I really like this topic, and I spent a while thinking about something I'd love to have grinning at me and giving me the thumbs up to keep me motivated. There's two panels from issue two that I freakin love, and so I made an image that sort of merges these. They're in issue two, and I switch between photos of them as my background on my phone. Gave it lots of extra time too, at over 2 hours.

The comic Bad Dog is awesome... It's the best thing I've ever read, Diego Greco knows how to draw man. And Joe Kelly can write like no one else.

I remember as a kid living in an apartment with my parents and not being allowed to have any pets, this was the inspiration.
Sort of a demented, genetically engineered, version of Chia pets, remember those?
Starts as a seed and grows into an eye ball tentacle plant that juggles. I present to you the iTree.
    Fish bowls not included
