I'm Matt, a 21 year old Canadian wana be Illustrator / concept artist!

Gonna try and post on here as often as possible and hopefully give and get some good avice and criticism : )

I'm kinda starting my self off here at rock bottom so any advice / crits are really appreciated! Thank you!!! : D

Quick small update of some life drawing I did yesterday at a community centre in my city. Had a tough a tough time with it but I'm definitely going to go there more often, was so awesome to do life drawing again!

Again, any critiques and advice regarding anatomy and drawing really needed and appreciated thank you!!

Here are some life drawings I did yesterday at another workshop. It was fun hopefully I'll make it there every week!

Here is a little head sketch I did today before bedd. Tried to do some head construction on this one from looking at loomis, gotta study that more.

Soon I'll post up an illustration in progress that I may be working on for a magazine at my college. No pay or anything but its going to be my first 'commisioned' piece of work that will be published so I'm pretty psyched . Can't wait to get some crits on that and really push it!

Heres a couple of really rough thumbnails for the illustration, nothing really set in stone for it now but hopefully more to come soon!

Here are some more "Loomis Studies" I did. Again a few from life and then some from imagination. Started to loosen up a bit on a few of these , feeling a bit better about them. Definitely need to work on this more then move onto something else for a whilee.

holy crap dude AMAZING IMPROVEMENT, specially in your figures and the tonal work its gorgeous, cant wait to see more have you tried drawing animals? i find drawing seals really relaxing and good for warming up, good to see your hard work keep it up!!

Wow, I'm so lame for not posting here in so long Christmas break should be a remedy for this though : D ( no school yusssss)

Not tooo much to update on here, did some sketches for the COW this week which is a storm dragon. Im thinking about going with the bottom dragon on the first image. Also theres a few life drawings I did before the christmas break.
